Our Partners

Without the help and assistance from our amazing partners, we would not be able to do what we do. Listed below a just a few of our partners. More will be added as time go on.

  • The Petco Foundation

The Petco Foundation provides food and litter as well funding for equipment such as bedding, scratching pads and more for our Adoption Center located within the Santa Fe store. Each year, we receive proceeds from in-store programs such as “Tree of Hope” and “Spring a Pet”. In addition, the Foundation provides grants for our annual fundraiser “Cocktails for Critters” and programs such as “Pets are Family Too”, “Kitten Season” as well as emergency funding for extraordinary situations.

  • The Santa Fe Animal Shelter

Since 1939, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter has been dedicated to its mission: support animals, save lives, spread compassion. It is northern New Mexico’s largest managed-admission, no-kill shelter. The Santa Fe Animal Shelter focuses on accessible spay and neuter programs in an effort to beat animal population at its core. Creative adoption efforts and dozens of programs provide support for marginalized animals and work to place homeless animals into loving families.

  • Española Humane

The Española Humane is an open-admissions shelter, where no animal is ever turned away regardless of health, breed or temperament. There’s never a surrender fee for Rio Arriba County residents. EH also operates a low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic to help the communities it serves respond to challenges of pet overpopulation and preventable illness.

The shelter is a refuge for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats that would otherwise be abandoned – hungry, scared, or left to fend for themselves. Each year, Felines & Friends accepts special needs cats from EH and places them in foster homes until adopted.

  • Zimmer Feline Foundation

Cat Spay of Santa Fe is a program of the Zimmer Foundation, a 501(c) 3 private operating foundation established in 1980 and conducting cat welfare programs since 1998 — first in southeastern Michigan, now in northern new Mexico. (The programs they conducted in Michigan are summarized here.)

Their focus is cat spay/neuter, having now fixed over 13,000 cats for over 3,000 caregivers. For a better understanding of their programs and their reasons behind them, visit them at Cat Spay of Santa Fe.

Special Thanks

We would like to give a special thanks to our friends. If we didn’t have their help, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
